A Ukrainian woman and her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter found dead in Germany
In the city of Dorsten, a 32-year-old woman and her 1 year and 7 months old child were found dead on a forest trail.

The woman and her child were found by a passerby, bodies on the side of a forest trail. This was reported by the publication ntv.

The suspect in this case is a 16-year-old Ukrainian who resides in Dorsten. He contacted the police and admitted his guilt.

According to the Recklinghausen police and the Essen city prosecutor's office, the young man arrived at the scene on Sunday evening and confessed to the crime. The deceased woman was a citizen of Ukraine. The bodies were found by a passerby around 6 a.m. on Sunday. At first, she thought the woman was simply sleeping, but when she called the police, the body of a child was also discovered in nearby bushes.

The police initially considered this case a violent crime. Many eyewitness testimonies have been received, but the exact circumstances of the incident are still being determined. A police spokeswoman stated that an autopsy of the bodies is planned to be conducted during the day, after which details about the nature of the injuries and the exact cause of death will become known.

Currently, law enforcement is also checking whether this case is related to another incident that occurred a few days ago in the same area. On June 26, an attack took place on a forest trail against a 40-year-old woman walking with her one-year-old child to the forest cemetery. The attackers tried to steal her bag and fled in a car, taking her earrings. It has been officially confirmed that there is currently no concrete evidence linking these two cases.
