Practical training of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel continues in Poland as part of the EUMAM Ukraine mission
Training of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel continues in Poland as part of EUMAM Ukraine, the European Union's military assistance mission to Ukraine. The training is being conducted under the supervision of the Joint Combat Training Command. This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The training programme is exclusively practical in nature and is aimed at directly improving the survivability of Ukrainian military personnel, as well as the effectiveness of their actions in combat conditions. All training elements are as close as possible to the real situations that defenders face on the front line.
One of the key areas is fire training. Servicemen practise dynamic shooting skills and improve their fire control in various conditions and tactical scenarios that simulate real combat situations.
Special attention is paid to engineering and sapper training. Personnel learn how to safely handle pyrotechnic devices and practise procedures for mining and demining territories.
An important component of the programme is battlefield medicine. During intensive medical rescue training, military personnel learn how to act under enemy fire and how to provide first aid and stabilise the wounded directly in the combat zone.
In addition, the training covers working with technical equipment. Ukrainian defenders undergo practical training in the operation and basic repair of weapons and military equipment provided by international partners.
The General Staff emphasises that such comprehensive training provides military personnel with critical skills that directly affect the successful completion of combat missions and the preservation of life on the front lines.
