Talks Between Ukraine and the U.S. on Ending the War Have Started in Florida
As ThePublic.info reports, citing the statement of the head of the Ukrainian delegation and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov, official negotiations between the Ukrainian and American sides began on Sunday, November 30, in the United States. The meeting is taking place in the state of Florida and focuses on further steps to end Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Umerov confirmed that the talks have already started:
“In the United States, a meeting between the Ukrainian delegation and the American side has begun to discuss steps toward achieving a just peace,” the NSDC Secretary stated.
According to him, he remains in constant contact with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and is acting in line with clearly defined priorities.
“We have clear directives — the protection of Ukrainian interests, substantive dialogue, and moving forward based on the progress achieved in Geneva. We are working for a real peace for Ukraine and guaranteed security,” Umerov emphasized.
He also noted that the Ukrainian delegation will report to the President on the outcomes of today’s meetings.

Earlier, it was announced that Rustem Umerov and his team were heading to the United States for the negotiations. The meeting with U.S. representatives was scheduled for November 30 in Florida with the aim of continuing discussions on an agreement to end the war.
It was also reported that during the meeting, the American side intends to seek agreements with the Ukrainian delegation on two key issues — territories and security guarantees.
