The Swedish government has decided to launch a new space that will become part of the Network of Unity of Ukrainians Abroad.

Sweden joins the development of the Ukrainian Unity Network: the country's government has decided to establish a Unity Centre, which will serve as a platform for support, interaction and consolidation of the Ukrainian community.

This decision was the result of agreements reached during the visit to Sweden by the Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, Denys Ulyutin, in October 2025, as well as thanks to the active work of the Ukrainian Embassy in Sweden.

According to the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, the project will be implemented in close coordination with the Swedish authorities, the Ukrainian side and civil society organisations. The Centre is intended to become a space for communication, mutual support and maintaining the connection between Ukrainians and their country.

The next step will be to agree on the practical details between the governments of Ukraine and Sweden so that the newly created centre can be fully integrated into the Network of Unity of Ukrainians Abroad.
