Ukraine has struck the Tamanneftegaz terminal and Russian ships

One of Russia’s largest oil terminals has been hit
According to the General Staff, the oil loading jetty at the Tamanneftegaz terminal in the village of Volna, Krasnodar Krai, was struck. Preliminary reports indicate damage to the oil loading equipment. The terminal is one of Russia’s key export facilities in the Black Sea region. Its capacity allows for the transhipment of up to 20 million tonnes of oil and petroleum products annually. According to the Ukrainian military, the facility is used to supply the Russian army.
Warehouses and drone control centres were hit
Ukrainian units also struck an ammunition depot in the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as depots containing logistical supplies, ammunition and fuel and lubricants in the Luhansk region. In addition, there are reports of strikes on drone control centres in the Belgorod, Kursk and Donetsk regions. Separately, the General Staff announced a strike on a Russian military concentration in the Kursk region.
Russian ships damaged in Novorossiysk
According to military sources, on 23 May, the patrol vessel ‘Pytlivy’ and a hovercraft were struck at the Novorossiysk naval base. The extent of the damage to the vessels is currently being assessed. The General Staff emphasised that the Defence Forces continue to strike enemy military targets with the aim of weakening their ability to wage war against Ukraine.
