Ukrainian drones are set for export – Zelenskyy
He said this in an interview with the ‘Yedyni Novyny’ telethon.
“The Middle East and the Gulf, plus we are gradually looking towards the Caucasus. This Drone Deal will involve at least 10 different agreements on the export of Ukrainian weapons. Joint production is envisaged – the construction of our production lines both in Ukraine and in other countries,” said Zelenskyy.
He explained that this involves cutting-edge technologies which Ukraine is developing jointly with various countries, with those countries providing investment. According to the president, an agreement has already been reached on annual funding for the relevant volume and a fixed number of years.
Separately, Zelenskyy announced the start of active cooperation with European countries, in particular Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands. Furthermore, Ukraine is counting on further expansion of cooperation with traditional partners – the United Kingdom and France.
“Secondly, there is the European aspect. Work has already begun with Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands. Of course, we have good relations with the UK and France. I am confident that all this will also take place there,” he added.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that the SBS had shot down a ‘Shahed’ for the first time from an unmanned surface platform.
