The bureau director refused to comment on the details of the official investigation, citing the secrecy of the inquiry.

The NABU is still conducting official investigations regarding the suspects of state treason Viktor Husarov and aiding Russia Ruslan Magamedrasulov, reports ThePublic.info citing "Ukrainska Pravda".

According to NABU Director Semen Kryvonos, immediately after the suspicion was announced for Husarov and Magamedrasulov, NABU began official investigations. Anti-corruption officials contacted law enforcement agencies requesting case materials.

"Some part of the materials has been provided. We are in communication with the SBU. Within our own procedures, we need to evaluate the evidence provided by the Security Service. Interview our employees, other individuals. And establish the truth. When the official investigations are completed, we will submit the findings to the disciplinary commission to ensure transparency. This process is ongoing. I believe it will take some more time," - Kryvonos says.

The NABU Director refused to comment on the details of the official investigation, citing the secrecy of the proceedings. He noted that he would comment on the results only after the process is completed.

Recall that on July 21, SBU and the Office of the Prosecutor General conducted a series of searches of NABU employees. A total of 49 searches were carried out, including 25 among 16 NABU employees. On the same day, the SBU and OPG announced suspicions against two Bureau detectives. Employee of the closed unit "D-2" Viktor Husarov is accused of state treason, and the head of the detective department in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions Ruslan Magamedrasulov – aiding the Russian Federation. Both NABU employees are in custody.
