In Pokrovsk, Russian troops are suffering losses and have pulled up operational reserves
Russian troops are suffering significant losses in Pokrovsk and are forced to mobilize operational reserves to replenish personnel. This is reported by ThePublic.info citing Telegram of the 7th Assault and Paratrooper Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As military officials clarify, the Defense Forces hold designated lines in the northern part of Pokrovsk and control positions south of the railway — these are key for the further de-occupation of the city. The enemy is trying to cross the railway to expand the occupation zone, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces are blocking such attempts.
According to the Air Assault Forces, Russian troops in Pokrovsk are "melting away," so the Russian command has already introduced operational reserves of the "Center" group — including units of the 76th Air Assault Division.
To deter the enemy, Ukrainian forces are building up their own group, increasing the number of UAV crews and utilizing tactical and army aviation. One of the main tasks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces remains the complete closure of logistical routes for the enemy to the city.
Additionally, on the northern outskirts of Myrnohrad, the clearing of enemy infantry is nearing completion. Extra resources are also being mobilized to the southern part, where movements of the occupiers are being recorded.
Separate groups of Russian soldiers attempted to infiltrate Grishine, northwest of Pokrovsk, but were detected and eliminated in time.
