Russian attacks over the past 24 hours have claimed lives in several regions of Ukraine, with dozens of civilians injured
Kherson Region
In the Kherson region, two people were killed and a further 17 were injured as a result of Russian attacks over the past 24 hours. A child is among the casualties.
Five multi-storey buildings and nine private houses, a farm building, an ambulance, specialist equipment and private vehicles were damaged.
Sumy region
In the Sumy region, two civilians were killed and 14 others injured over the past 24 hours as a result of Russian strikes.
In the Yampil community, a 57-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were killed when a drone struck their home. A one-year-old boy, an 11-year-old girl and women aged 37, 39, 57, 75 and 78 were also injured.
In the Konotop community, a Russian drone struck a private house. Three children aged 2, 9 and 15 were injured, as well as a 37-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man. The attack caused a fire in a private residential building and damaged four properties.
In the Bilopil community, two men aged 37 and 54 were injured when explosives were dropped from a drone onto a car.
In total, Russian forces carried out over 40 attacks on 23 settlements across 19 communities in the region. Artillery, FPV drones, unmanned aerial vehicles and guided aerial bombs were used.
Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv region, eight people were injured over the past 24 hours, including two children.
In the village of Gubarivka, Bohodukhiv district, a Russian FPV drone exploded near two families walking down the street. Men aged 34, 35 and 53, women aged 29 and 34, and girls aged 2 and 12 were injured. All the injured were hospitalised.
In Bohodukhiv, a 49-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. Near the village of Malyi Burluk, a 24-year-old man was injured as a result of a drone explosion.
In addition, drones attacked the Nemyshlyanskyi, Saltivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv.
Kyiv region
In the Brovary district of the Kyiv region, one person was killed and four others were injured as a result of a strike by Russian drones.
A civilian food industry enterprise was hit. A fire broke out in the administrative building on the premises, and the structure was partially destroyed.
Rescue workers freed two employees. Search and rescue operations continued as people might still have been inside the building.
Odesa region
On the night of 5 June, Russian forces attacked the Odesa region with strike drones.
In the Odesa district, a private residential building was destroyed and a fire broke out as a result of a drone strike. A critical infrastructure facility was also damaged.
The strike set fire to an empty warehouse and equipment. There were no casualties. Clean-up operations continued at the sites.
Dnipropetrovsk region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was killed and two others were injured as a result of Russian attacks.
In the Pavlohrad district, Russian forces struck Pavlohrad and the Troitska community. A woman was killed. A 74-year-old man was hospitalised in a moderately serious condition, while a 48-year-old man will receive outpatient treatment.
A business and private homes were damaged. A fire broke out, which was extinguished by the emergency services.
The Shakhtarska and Mykolaivska communities in the Synelnykivskyi district were also hit, with damage to apartment blocks, a petrol station and cars.
In the Pereshchepynska community of the Samarivskyi district, a private house was damaged.
The communities of Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka, Marganetsk and Pokrovsk were under fire.
Zaporizhzhia region
In Zaporizhzhia, on the evening of 4 June, a Russian drone attacked the regional centre.
According to preliminary reports, one woman was killed and 16 others were injured. All those affected received the necessary medical assistance.
Three cars and the windows of a block of flats were damaged. A grass fire also broke out in an open area, which was extinguished by the emergency services.
Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided support to 16 people, including one child.
