Explosives found near the ‘Turkish Stream’: Serbia does not confirm Ukrainian involvement
Explosives found near a gas pipeline in Serbia
The Director of Serbia’s Military Security Agency, Đuro Jovanović, noted that there is “a great deal of misinformation” surrounding the planting of explosives on the gas pipeline.

Serbian security services have reported that Ukraine has no connection to the explosives discovered near the “TurkStream” gas pipeline, which links Serbia and Hungary.

This was stated by the head of Serbia’s Military Security Agency, Đuro Jovanović, according to Kurir.

According to him, there is “a great deal of disinformation” circulating regarding the incident involving explosives planted on the gas pipeline.

“The disinformation suggests that the Serbian Armed Forces and their personnel are working for some other or third party, finding Ukrainian explosives and blaming Ukraine for this. This is not true,” he said.

Jovanic also said that markings on the explosives found indicate they were manufactured in the US. The official stressed that the manufacturer of the explosives does not necessarily mean they were also the perpetrators or those who ordered the attack.

Ukraine has also responded to this incident.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Georgiy Tykhyi stated that Kyiv is not involved in the explosives found near the “Turkish Stream” pipeline in Serbia.

According to him, “attempts to falsely link Ukraine to the incident involving the explosives found near the ‘Turkish Stream’ pipeline in Serbia”. Ukraine “categorically” rejects this, as it has nothing to do with it, says Tykhyi.

“Most likely, this is a Russian operation under a false flag as part of Moscow’s massive interference in the Hungarian elections,” he believes.
