The Russian Armed Forces’ casualties have exceeded 1.32 million
Total combat losses among Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, as of 22 April 2026, stand at approximately 1,321,450 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, losses have increased by 1,140 troops.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army has also lost 11,885 tanks, one in the past 24 hours. The number of armoured combat vehicles stands at 24,436, seven in the past 24 hours.
Losses of artillery systems have reached 40,516 units, 38 of which were lost over the past 24 hours. The number of multiple launch rocket systems stands at 1,749. A total of 1,350 air defence systems have been recorded.
There are also reports of 435 aircraft and 350 helicopters. The number of tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles stands at 251,489, of which 1,026 were recorded over the past 24 hours.
Cruise missile losses amount to 4,549. There are 33 ships and boats recorded, and two submarines.
90,925 vehicles and tankers have been lost, with 162 lost in the past 24 hours. The number of specialised vehicles stands at 4,132.
