On Monday, 8 June, unsettled weather is expected across Ukraine, with rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds. Most regions will see moderate rainfall, whilst the Left Bank may experience hail and gusts of 15–20 m/s.

This has been reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre. According to forecasters, thunderstorms are expected on the Left Bank during the day on 8 June, with hail in places and gusts of 15–20 m/s.

The new week in Ukraine will begin with rain and thunderstorms.

On Monday, 8 June 2026, moderate rain is forecast in most regions. In the northern and central regions, heavy rainfall is possible in places.

The most challenging weather is expected on the Left Bank. There, thunderstorms are possible during the day, with hail and squalls of 15–20 m/s in some areas. As a result, these weather conditions may disrupt the operations of energy, construction and utility companies, as well as transport services.

Temperatures in Ukraine on 8 June

In most regions, night-time temperatures will range from +13 to +18 degrees.

It will be cooler in the west – +10…+15 degrees.

Daytime temperatures in Ukraine are expected to reach +20…+25 degrees. It will be warmer on the Left Bank – +23…+28 degrees.

What will the wind be like

The wind will be mainly north-westerly.

On the Left Bank, it will be south-easterly, 5–10 m/s.

During thunderstorms, gusts of up to 15–20 m/s are possible in some areas.

Weather in Kyiv

Rain is also expected in Kyiv on 8 June, with a chance of thunderstorms.

The daytime temperature will be around +22…+23 degrees. At night, temperatures are forecast to be around +16…+18 degrees.

Due to thunderstorms, hail and squalls, Ukrainians are advised to pay close attention to weather warnings.

During bad weather, avoid standing under trees, near advertising structures, power lines and open bodies of water.
