Wildberries’ warehouses are on fire again
On the night of 23 July, several regions in Russia reported drone attacks and explosions. According to monitoring Telegram channels, logistics facilities and fuel industry enterprises may have been targeted.
In the Voronezh region, according to the monitoring channel Supernova+, a Wildberries warehouse was attacked. The region’s governor, Alexander Gusev, confirmed damage to the roof of a warehouse belonging to one of the marketplaces and to the façade of another similar building on the outskirts of Voronezh, but did not specify the name of the company.
Damage to buildings in the village of Nova Usman, where the Wildberries warehouse is located, was also reported. According to Russian media reports, the warehouse did not open on the morning of 23 July, and the night shift there was cancelled.
According to reports from Russian Telegram channels, an attempted attack on a Wildberries warehouse was also carried out in Kazan. Local residents reported that air defence systems had been activated, whilst the Russian Ministry of Defence announced that drones had been shot down over Tatarstan.
Earlier, on 18 July, attacks on Wildberries warehouses in the Tambov and Moscow regions were reported, and on 22 July, according to Russian sources, logistics centres in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions came under attack. According to the Russian side, nine people were killed and a further 91 were injured as a result of these attacks.
