The Ukrainian defence forces continue to repel the Russian offensive and are inflicting losses on them in terms of personnel and equipment. Over the past 24 hours, more than two hundred combat engagements have been recorded.

The 1,519th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Defence forces are repelling the enemy’s attempts to consolidate their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory.

Over the past 24 hours, 231 combat engagements were recorded. Russian troops carried out 78 air strikes, dropped 287 guided bombs, deployed 7,067 kamikaze drones and fired 2,810 rounds at Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 65 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Air strikes hit areas around the settlements of Yastrubshchyna and Pavlivka in Sumy Oblast, Malomykhailivka, Kolomyitsy, Havrylivka and Novooleksandrivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Dolynka, Polohy, Kopani, Sviatopetrivka, Lisne, Novoselivka, Charivne, Yurkivka and Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Air Force, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck seven areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, as well as a drone control centre.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out four air strikes using nine guided bombs and conducted 94 shelling attacks, including three from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, five attacks were recorded in the areas of Prylipka and in the direction of Bochkove, Okhrimivka and Starytsia. In the Kupianskyi sector, five attacks took place in the area of Novoosynove and in the direction of Kurylivka, Petropavlivka and Hlushevka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy made ten attempts to breach the defences in the direction of Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, Dibrova, Novosergiivka and Zarichne. In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two attempts to advance in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, seven attacks were recorded in the areas of Nykyforivka, Holubivka, Bondarne, Maiske, Vasyutynske, Udachne and Markove. In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 29 attacks in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, Ivanopil, and in the direction of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, Kuchero-Yar and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 51 assaults in the direction of Bilytske, Nikonorivka, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Vasylivka and Hryshyne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched 15 attacks in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Zlagoda, Andriivka-Klevtsove and towards Kalynivka. In the Huliaipole sector, 14 attacks took place in the areas of Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Hirke, Huliaipole, Staroukrainka and Zeleny.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled six attempts to advance towards Shcherbakiv, Plavni, Stepnogorsk and Primorsky. In the Dnipro sector, four assault operations were recorded in the direction of Antonivsky Bridge, Bilohrudy Island and Kruglyk Island.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces suffered 1,140 casualties. One tank, seven armoured fighting vehicles, 38 artillery systems, 1,026 unmanned aerial vehicles and 162 vehicles were also destroyed.
