Zelenskyy confirmed the destruction of the Russian missile carrier ‘Karakurt’
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the successful completion of the mission.
According to the head of state, Major General Yevhen Khmara reported on the results of the attack. The operation was the result of coordinated efforts by the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Main Intelligence Directorate and border guards.
Casualties among the occupiers and damage to infrastructure
As a result of precision strikes in the port of Primorsk, the following were hit:

A missile ship of the ‘Karakurt’ project;

A patrol boat;
-
A tanker belonging to Russia’s ‘shadow oil fleet’.
In addition to the destruction of the vessels, the infrastructure of the oil-loading port sustained significant damage. The President emphasised that every such outcome significantly limits the aggressor’s military potential. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also announced that he had agreed with the SBU on additional measures in response to Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities. He stressed that the prolongation of the war by the Russian Federation would only lead to an escalation of Ukraine’s defensive operations and an increase in the number of just responses to the aggression.
