The director of the ESBU needs to take a break from the intense media coverage and get down to work.
I honestly waited for results from the new head of the Economic Security Bureau, trying to give him time and not criticise Oleksandr Tsyvinsky, who had been appointed despite such resistance from the system.
I understood that everything takes time.
At the same time, when instead of taking real action to stop obvious documented crimes, which the Committee directly informs you about, you try to "sell" people a distorted reality of your own "achievements" regarding the "results" of de-shadowing the fuel market, which, if it is happening at all, is very sluggish and certainly not thanks to the ESBU, or you try to bribe the public with ideas that are no less sensational than corrupt, such as the repayment of tax debts "for a small share", while at the same time handing out the rank of colonel to symbols of corruption in Odesa – time is definitely being wasted on the wrong things.
I would sincerely advise Oleksandr to stop playing games, take a break from the intense media coverage and get on with his actual job – stopping and investigating crimes in the economic sphere.
The fact is that loyal stooges, colourful interviews and fantastic ideas can temporarily distract from the lack of results. But that time is now over.
I remember how in 2024, the highly corrupt ESBU managed to halve the illegal tobacco market in six months, under the powerful black media coverage of Grisha Kozlovsky. Under your leadership, the illegal market is growing. Don't make us regret supporting you, Oleksandr.
