A very simple question for the ESBU, to which I never received a satisfactory answer at the TSK meeting: how much longer will it take to put a stop to the crimes that have already cost the state billions of hryvnias? How high must the budget losses reach before we finally see results from the work of the law enforcement agencies?

A mere five months (!) ago, I raised the issue of the black market in second-hand cars.

In early March, a meeting of the Temporary Investigation Commission was held to address this large-scale illegal industry. There has been plenty of time to deliver tangible results. Instead, what do we see? These companies are calmly continuing their tax evasion practices, advertising their activities and showing no intention of changing anything.

These crimes must be stopped – this is what the public expects from law enforcement agencies. With specific deadlines, charges and the prosecution of those responsible.
