I cannot resist thanking the Transcarpathian Regional Security Service for promptly warning of a threat to the country’s economic security posed by a plastic surgery clinic in Uzhhorod.

Paying no heed whatsoever to the ESBU’s complete and unquestionable blockade of all legal and illegal border crossings with three neighbouring countries, and the closure of local networks of shredders and all grey importers without exception, an organised criminal group of surgeons openly and brazenly legalised dirty black cash directly through lipofilling and hymenoplasty, clearly representing the last shadow bastion standing in the way of light in the Zakarpattia region.

But finally, the shadow in this particular region has been overcome! The instruments, means and objects of the crime have been seized!

We are preparing a Committee decision to award state honours to all relevant staff of the revamped ESBU.

But seriously, everyone has had their fill of the nice videos and interesting press releases. That’s more than enough. Perhaps it’s time to start doing our job, hunting down real shadow money in smuggling, money laundering, illegal trade, tobacco and vodka?
