In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, law enforcement officers have uncovered an organised group suspected of illegally extracting sand and gravel in the Kolomyia district. According to preliminary estimates, the damage to the environment amounts to nearly 50 million hryvnias, and four suspects have already been served with notices of suspicion.
