Official profiles/sources:

Mykhailo Fedorov was born in 1991 in Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. His path to big-time politics began with IT entrepreneurship and digital marketing (founder of the SMMSTUDIO agency). In 2019, he headed the digital direction of Volodymyr Zelensky's election campaign, which became a turning point in his career.

After the start of the full-scale invasion, Fedorov became the de facto "technological commander-in-chief," launching the production of drones and supplying the front with Starlink.

His appointment as Minister of Defence in January 2026 signalled the army's transition to "Amazon for the military" — maximum automation of logistics and the introduction of AI into combat management.
