“Kryvbas” took the lead in their away match against Rivne-based “Veres” in the 28th round of the UPL. In the 26th minute, a goal was scored by the Kryvbas side’s 19-year-old midfielder, Yaroslav Shevchenko.

On Tuesday, 12 May 2026, Rivne’s Veres will play at home against Kryvyi Rih’s Kryvbas in the 28th round of the Ukrainian Premier League.

The match kicked off at 18:00 Kyiv time.

Before the match, the teams’ head coaches, Oleg Shandruk and Patrick van Leeuwen, finalised their starting line-ups. Gleyker Mendoza is missing the match for Kryvbas.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 26th minute. The goal for Kryvbas was scored by 19-year-old midfielder Yaroslav Shevchenko.

For the young Ukrainian, this is already his fourth goal-scoring contribution in the last eight matches. During this run, he has scored three goals and provided one assist.

Before this match, Veres were 10th in the UPL table. The Rivne side had 31 points from 27 matches.

Kryvbas were seventh with 44 points.
