A former executive at ‘Ukrgazvydobuvannya’ is to stand trial over losses of nearly 1 million hryvnias in procurement
The state-owned company has suffered financial losses amounting to over 947,000 UAH.
An indictment has been filed against the former head of one of the departments at JSC ‘Ukrgazvydobuvannya’ on charges of professional negligence in connection with a procurement process.

This has been reported by the press office of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.

In August 2024, the company entered into a contract for the supply of rock salt. The official failed to verify the economic justification for the cost of the products, as a result of which the company purchased them at inflated prices.

An expert assessment established that the state-owned company had suffered financial losses amounting to over 947,000 hryvnias.

During the investigation, the former employee admitted her guilt and fully compensated for the losses incurred.
