The head of the border guard detachment’s depot is accused of misappropriating military property. According to the investigation, he sold equipment to civilians and pawned it.

Law enforcement officials have notified the former director of a Ministry of Defence department that he is under suspicion — he is suspected of supplying defective mortars to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During a hearing at the High Anti-Corruption Court, where a pre-trial measure was being determined for him, MP Mykola Tyshchenko accused the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine of attempting to usurp power. It was on this very day that the court began hearing the application in the case in which the MP is suspected of soliciting over $1 million in unlawful benefits, money laundering and making false declarations.

The superyacht Graceful, which the international media have linked to Vladimir Putin, passed through Danish waters escorted by Russian military vessels. Danish and German authorities also monitored the convoy’s movements.

According to the pre-trial investigation, in August 2023, the Member of Parliament approached a citizen whom he believed to be one of the organisers of a network of call centres, asking him to provide US$1 million.

The full amount of bail — 150 million hryvnias — has been paid on behalf of former Minister of Energy and Justice Herman Halushchenko, who is suspected of involvement in the ‘Midas’ corruption case at ‘Energoatom’.

The Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office has concluded its pre-trial investigation into the alleged misappropriation of 32 million hryvnias from state-owned enterprises within the Ukroboronprom group. According to the investigation, those involved in the scheme also attempted to illegally misappropriate a further 19 million hryvnias.

Over a three-year period — from 2021 to 2023 — Maria Yermolenko from Kremenchuk, who is now 79 years old, officially purchased property in Kyiv and in the vicinity of the capital worth almost 20 million hryvnias. The telephone number and email address listed in her business registration belong to her grandson — Dmytro Voitenko, an investigator with the Security Service of Ukraine’s Main Investigation Directorate. When asked about the source of the funds, he replied: ‘Well, that’s not really known.’

A suspected scheme involving the illegal diversion of gas for the operation of a local boiler house has been uncovered in Chernivtsi. According to Naftogaz’s estimates, the losses amount to at least 87.5 million hryvnias, and the case files have already been handed over to the law enforcement authorities.

The former head of one of the departments at the Kropyvnytskyi District Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support has been notified that he is suspected of providing false information in his declaration. This was reported by the Kirovohrad Specialised Prosecutor’s Office for Defence in the Southern Region.
