A smell of ammonia spread through Dnipro following a Russian strike on a factory
This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.
Following the attack, complaints about a strong smell of ammonia in the city spread across local Telegram channels.
As explained by the State Emergency Service, an ammonia pipeline was damaged as a result of the morning attack on a facility in Dnipro.
Emergency services have already dealt with the aftermath of the accident: the tank valves have been shut off and the leak stopped. There is no threat to the public. The concentration of ammonia in the air is being monitored, the State Emergency Service’s press office said, as quoted by ‘Suspilne’.
It should be recalled that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) previously identified six instances in which Russia used depleted uranium munitions during attacks on the Chernihiv region.
