Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has shared a list of boxers whose fights he follows with the greatest interest. Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk did not feature on the list.

Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has revealed which boxers he most enjoys watching. World champion Oleksandr Usyk did not feature on the list of fighters named by the British boxer.

Joshua noted that, among boxers from around the world, he most enjoys watching Shakur Stevenson’s fights. He also singled out David Benavidez, Moses Itauma and Abdullah Mason.

“When it comes to boxers from around the world, I enjoy watching Shakur Stevenson. I also enjoy David Benavidez’s fights. We have Moses Itauma. He’s being talked about as the future heavyweight king. I can also mention Abdullah Mason. In fact, there are a lot of talented young boxers around at the moment,” said Anthony Joshua.

Separately, the British boxer named his favourites among his compatriots. According to him, he particularly enjoys the performances of Kona Walker and Nick Ball.

At the same time, there was no place on Joshua’s list for Oleksandr Usyk, although the boxers have worked together on several occasions recently. Previously, Joshua had joined the Ukrainian’s training camp and also held joint training sessions with him.

In March 2026, Anthony Joshua visited Ukraine at the invitation of Oleksandr Usyk. The Briton was the guest of honour at a boxing event organised by the Ukrainian champion’s promotional company. The boxers also visited the memorial wall honouring those who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war and prayed for Ukraine.
