Over the past 24 hours, there have been 249 combat engagements on the front line. The defence forces continue to repel Russian attacks on the main fronts and strike at enemy military targets.

Day 1,605 of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 249 combat engagements were recorded over the past 24 hours.

Russian troops launched one missile strike using eight missiles, carried out 85 air strikes and dropped 265 guided bombs. The enemy also deployed 9,920 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,110 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, 31 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck 18 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, as well as two other key targets.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out one air strike using two guided bombs and conducted 65 shelling attacks, one of which was from a multiple launch rocket system.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 19 times in the Starytsia area and in the directions of Izbytske, Kutkivka, Khatne, Kozacha Lopana, Hoptivka, Radkivka, Vilcha and Berezniki.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched three assaults near Kolisnykivka and in the directions of Kupiansk Vuzlovyi and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled ten attacks in the areas of Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Novomykhailivka and in the directions of Lyman, Dibrova and Ozerny.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy launched 23 assaults on the Defence Forces’ positions in the directions of Kryva Luka, Rai Oleksandrivka, Piskunivka and Mykolaivka, as well as in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakytne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, one attack was recorded in the direction of Tykhonivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops carried out 20 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka and in the direction of Dovha Balka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 37 assaults in the areas of Dorozhne, Hryshyne, Novopidhorodne, Rodynske, Vasylivka, Kotlyne and in the directions of Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Myrne, Serhiivka and Kucherove Yar.

On the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched two attacks in the direction of Vorone.

In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 17 attacks in the directions of Kosivtseve, Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove, Charivne, Hirke and Vozdvizhivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops stormed the positions of Ukrainian units ten times in the areas of Bilohirya, Shcherbakiv, Mali Shcherbakiv and in the directions of Novoandriivka and Primorsky.

In the Dnipro sector, no enemy offensive operations were recorded.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groups have been detected.

According to the General Staff, the Russian army lost 1,370 troops over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed four tanks, six armoured fighting vehicles, 65 artillery systems, seven multiple launch rocket systems, four air defence systems, one helicopter, three missiles, 13 ground-based robotic systems, 1,879 drones, 489 vehicles and four pieces of specialised equipment.
