Apple officially announced the presentation of the iPhone 17
The company plans to withdraw seven products from sale that are currently still available in its stores.

The main event — the release of four new iPhone 17 models. In connection with this, Apple will discontinue sales of:

  • iPhone 15
  • iPhone 15 Plus
  • iPhone 16 Pro
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max

Other retailers will still be able to sell these smartphones for some time, but they will disappear from official Apple stores immediately after the presentation. The company explains that this is to ensure all current iPhone models support Apple Intelligence.

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will remain available, which typically see a price reduction of $100 after new flagship models are released.

The new line of iPhones after the September presentation might look like this:

  • iPhone 16e — from $599 (24,000 hryvnias)
  • iPhone 16 — from $699 (29,000 hryvnias)
  • iPhone 16 Plus — from $799 (33,000 hryvnias)
  • iPhone 17 — from $799 (33,000 hryvnias)
  • iPhone 17 Air — from $949 (39,000 hryvnias)
  • iPhone 17 Pro — from $1,049 (43,000 hryvnias)
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max — from $1,199 (249,000 hryvnias)

According to analysts, the price of the iPhone 17 Pro may increase by $50 due to an increase in memory capacity, and the iPhone 17 Air will cost $50 more than the iPhone 16 Plus. One forecast also suggests that the iPhone 17 Pro Max could start at $1,249.

The company plans to discontinue three more devices:

  • Apple Watch Series 10
  • Apple Watch Ultra 2
  • AirPods Pro 2
