The Economic Security Bureau is looking for a head of the innovation department with a salary of 100,000 hryvnias. In total, the agency has opened more than 260 new vacancies. These include detectives, analysts, lawyers, managers, communications specialists, and experts in internal control and HR.

As stated in one of the job descriptions, the BEB is seeking experienced managers who are ready to lead key areas of the Bureau’s digitalisation efforts.

For example, the list of vacancies includes a Head of the Innovation Department with a salary of 100,000 UAH and a Head of the Information and Communication Systems Administration Department with similar terms. For both positions, additional allowances are provided for special ranks, length of service and other payments.

“Applications are accepted exclusively in electronic form via the personal account on the BEB Job Portal. Deadline for submission: by 18:00 on 11 May 2026,” states the job advertisement.

Previously, the Bureau was also seeking a “strategy master” and a “truth ambassador” to shape the agency’s media policy and be responsible for its reputation.

It should be noted that BEB Director Oleksandr Tsivinsky has repeatedly highlighted the insufficient funding and uncompetitive pay conditions for the Bureau’s specialists.

The Economic Security Bureau is currently undergoing a staff re-evaluation. The final restructuring of the agency is due to take place by February 2027. The Government has allocated 44 million hryvnias for this process. The Bureau will receive a further one million euros for the reform from the Netherlands.
