Fuel prices on 11 May
Over the weekend, the situation at petrol stations became mixed: whilst some chains have kept their old prices, others have surprised motorists by adjusting their prices. The biggest price rise has been for petrol.

Below, we outline how prices at petrol stations have changed as of 11 May.

How prices at petrol stations have changed

The OKKO and WOG chains have left the prices of all types of fuel and gas unchanged compared to Friday, 8 May.

SOCAR, on the other hand, surprised everyone with a price cut. Bucking the general trend, the chain reduced prices for diesel fuel (NANO and Extro) by 2 UAH/litre.

The most notable event of the weekend was the rise in fuel prices at the "Ukrnafta" network. Price tags on the pumps showed a sharp increase.

The hardest hit was the branded 95 petrol (Energy) – its price soared by 5 hryvnias at once, reaching 74.90 UAH/litre. Regular A-95 and A-92 were also affected, with prices rising by 2 and 1 hryvnia respectively.

Premium A-98 (Energy) now costs 80.90 UAH/litre, which is 2 hryvnias more than on Friday.

Even with this price rise, the state-run network remains the most cost-effective option for drivers, maintaining a significant price gap compared to popular petrol stations.
