The State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) is conducting searches at the former head of NEC "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, reports ThePublic.info, citing information from Suspilne.
Currently, they are investigating possible abuse of official position and embezzlement of funds from the state company. This information has been confirmed by sources within law enforcement agencies.
The investigation concerns artificially inflated logging volumes and the cost of work during the construction of energy corridors. It is indicated that searches are also being conducted at "Ukrenergo", in the premises of the contracting organization, and other enterprises involved in the scheme, as believed by the DBR.
Additionally, the publication "Economic Truth" writes that law enforcement authorities have opened more than one criminal proceeding regarding possible abuses by Kudrytskyi during his tenure as head of Ukrenergo.
