The State Bureau of Investigation came with a search to the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service
This was reported by Ukrainian Pravda. According to UP sources, investigative actions were carried out as part of the investigation initiated in July 2025.
"The case concerns possible abuse of power and official authority by military officials of the Security Service of Ukraine during the procurement in December 2020 of a special hardware-software complex from LLC 'S-Monitor' for detecting and forecasting threats in the information sphere under a state contract worth 112 million UAH, which was not justified by the needs of the service," - writes Ukrainian Pravda.
55-year-old Lieutenant General Valeriy Kondratyuk is a Ukrainian intelligence officer. He headed the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine from 2020 to 2021, and previously served as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine (2016-2019). He led the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in 2015-2016, and from 2014 to 2015 held the position of Head of the Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.
