На початок березня українці подали понад 46 тис. податкових декларацій за 2025 рік, задекларувавши 32,4 млрд грн доходів. Із цієї суми майже половину становлять доходи громадян зі статусом мільйонерів.

This was reported by the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

According to the tax service, as of early March, more than 46,000 Ukrainians had filed income tax returns for the previous year. The total amount of declared income is 32.4 billion hryvnias.

It is expected that UAH 716 million in taxes will be paid to the budget from this income. This is almost UAH 200 million more than in the same period last year.

The State Tax Service noted that more than 3,500 citizens officially declared incomes in the millions of hryvnias. The total income of this category of taxpayers is UAH 14.6 billion.

Of these amounts, they must pay UAH 445 million in tax liabilities to the budget.

The highest declared incomes were recorded in economically active regions. The ranking of regions by the amount of declared income is as follows:

Kyiv – 6.6 billion hryvnias
Lviv region – 3.0 billion hryvnias
Dnipropetrovsk region – 2.9 billion hryvnias
Kyiv region – 2.8 billion hryvnias

The largest tax liability among individuals was declared by a resident of the Kyiv region. He will have to pay more than UAH 15.6 million in personal income tax and military tax.

The tax authorities also analysed the structure of income that Ukrainians declare most often.

The largest amounts are from inheritance and gifts – UAH 2.9 billion.

This is followed by income from the sale of property – UAH 819.1 million, foreign income – UAH 733.2 million, property rental – UAH 406 million, and investment income – UAH 227.3 million.

At the same time, the number of Ukrainians filing tax returns to receive tax credits is growing.

Currently, more than 19,000 citizens have applied for refunds from the budget in the amount of UAH 139.4 million. This is UAH 98 million more than last year.

The State Tax Service reminds that the deadline for submitting declarations for persons who are required to declare income is 1 May.

For those who file a return only to receive a tax credit, the deadline is 31 December.
