European leaders paid tribute to the victims in Bucha
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
“Together with our EU colleagues, we visited Bucha and paid tribute to those brutally murdered by the Russian occupiers. Standing here, we felt with every fibre of our being that the future and security of the whole of Europe are being decided right here, on Ukrainian soil. Bucha is a symbol of Russian atrocities, but it also bears witness to Ukrainian resilience. It was from here, four years ago, that the liberation of our lands began,” said Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.

The Minister emphasised that Ukraine is working tirelessly alongside the Special Tribunal, the Register of Damages and the Claims Settlement Commission “to ensure that no crime goes unpunished”.
European politicians will hold an informal meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council away from Brussels.
“During our special meeting of ministers today, we will focus on the situation on the battlefield, energy security and Ukraine’s path to the EU,” Sibiga said.
As a reminder, on 31 March, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, arrived in Kyiv alongside the foreign ministers of EU member states. The visit coincides with the anniversary of the massacre in Bucha.
