In the Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation, drones attacked the Energia defence plant in Yeltsin again. Eyewitnesses report a fire. This is at least the fourth attack on the enterprise since May 2025.

A group of drones attacked the Energia defence plant in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region, late on 4 January. This was reported by telegram channels. According to eyewitnesses, a fire broke out at the plant after the attack

It is noted that this is not the first attack on Energia. on 15 July 2025, at least four drones reportedly hit the company's territory. Earlier, at least 12 drones had also attacked the plant. The attack on the night of 23 May is also mentioned, when one of the workshops caught fire and 9 workers were injured

The Energia plant specialises in the production of chemical power sources, with products used in the defence industry, civil aviation, maritime transport and the energy sector
