Earthquake in the Lviv region on 26 July
On the morning of 26 July, an earthquake measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Lviv region. Its epicentre was located within the Pustomyty urban community in the Lviv district

This was reported by the Main Centre for Special Control.

Where the tremors were recorded

The tremors were recorded at 05:24 Kyiv time.

According to the Main Centre for Special Control, the epicentre of the earthquake was located within the Pustomyty urban community in the Lviv district, at coordinates 49.70° north latitude and 23.84° east longitude. The focus lay at a depth of 4 kilometres. The earthquake had a magnitude of 2.8 on the Richter scale. The Special Monitoring Centre classified it as barely perceptible.

Earthquakes of this magnitude are considered weak. Such tremors are sometimes felt by residents of settlements near the epicentre, but they do not usually cause damage to buildings or infrastructure.
