Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has launched missile and air strikes on Ukrainian territory and continued its offensive operations on several fronts. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.

Russia has carried out air strikes and deployed nearly 10,000 drones

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the 1,541st day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine has begun.

Over the past 24 hours, 241 combat engagements were recorded on the front line.

The Russian army launched one missile strike, carried out 91 air strikes and dropped 302 guided aerial bombs.

Russian forces also deployed 9,828 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,418 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 120 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Air strikes were recorded, in particular, in the areas of Bachivska and Vilna Sloboda in Sumy Oblast, as well as Mykolaivka in Chernihiv Oblast.

Defence forces struck an enemy command post

According to the General Staff, the Ukrainian Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck a command post, another key facility and an artillery system belonging to Russian troops.

The situation in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors

Four combat engagements took place over the past 24 hours in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors.

Russian forces carried out three air strikes, used eight guided bombs and conducted 111 shelling attacks, eight of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Southern Slobozhansky sector

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, Russian forces attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 22 times in the areas of Vovchanski Khutory, Lyman, Rybachyne, Okhrimivka and Starytsia, as well as in the direction of Ternova, Izbytske and Volokhivka.

Kupiansk, Lyman and Sloviansk sectors

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled an attempt by Russian troops to advance in the Borivska Andriivka area.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks in the areas of Lyman, Drobysheve, Stavky and Ozerny.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian units halted one attempted advance in the Zakitne area.

Kramatorsk and Kostiantynivka sectors

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks near Nykyforivka and Virolyubivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops carried out 14 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Rusyn Yar, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka and Stepanivka.

Pokrovsk direction

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 assaults by Russian troops.

Fighting continued in the areas of Novopavlivka, Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Udachne, Serhiivka, Novomykolaivka, Toretske, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, and Novopidhorodne.

Huliaipole, Orikhiv and Prydniprovsk sectors

In the Huliaipole sector, 32 attacks took place near Dobropillia, Zlagoda, Pryvillia, Vozdvizhivka, Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa, Hirke, Sviatopetrivka, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops attempted to advance eight times in the areas of Shcherbakiv and Stepnogorsk.

In the Dnipro sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks in the direction of Antonivka.

No changes were recorded in the Volyn and Polissya sectors

The General Staff reported that no signs of Russian troops forming offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.
