The General Staff has reported that the Russian army has suffered over a thousand casualties in the past 24 hours

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost 1,180 troops in the war against Ukraine. Total losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1.3 million.

Total combat losses suffered by Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from 24 February 2022 to 28 April 2026, amount to approximately 1,327,640 personnel. Of these, the Russian army has lost 1,180 personnel over the past 24 hours.

These figures were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to military sources, 11,892 tanks have also been destroyed, with no losses in this category recorded over the past 24 hours. A total of 24,483 armoured fighting vehicles have been lost, 16 of them in the last 24 hours.

The number of artillery systems destroyed stands at 40,771, with 34 fewer recorded over the past 24 hours. 1,755 multiple launch rocket systems have been lost, an increase of 2 over the past 24 hours.

1,354 air defence systems have been destroyed. 435 aircraft and 350 helicopters have been lost; no changes have been recorded in these categories over the past 24 hours.

260,258 tactical drones have been destroyed, of which 1,039 in the last 24 hours. 4,579 cruise missiles have been destroyed.

33 ships and boats were lost, along with 2 submarines. 91,986 vehicles and tankers were destroyed, including 276 over the past 24 hours. 4,141 pieces of specialised equipment were lost, with an increase of 5 over the past 24 hours.

The General Staff notes that the figures are being updated.
