Ukrainian forces carried out a series of precision strikes on Russian military targets and temporarily occupied territories, confirming damage to key elements of the enemy's infrastructure.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the results of strikes on the Russian Ministry of Defence's Kapustin Yar state central inter-service training ground in the Astrakhan region. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, a technical facility for servicing medium-range ballistic missiles, an assembly building, and a logistics warehouse were damaged on the training ground. The enemy's losses and the extent of the damage caused are being clarified.

In addition, on Saturday, 7 February, Ukrainian defenders struck an area where enemy forces were concentrated near the temporarily occupied Krasnogorsk in the Zaporizhzhia region. On the night of 8 February, a Russian military supply depot in the temporarily occupied Rozyvka area was hit.

In the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast, near Novoekonomichne, a Russian army drone control centre was hit.

As previously reported, during January, the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out a series of successful strikes on the Kapustin Yar training ground, in particular using domestically produced FP-5 Flamingo missiles. According to preliminary information, the Oreshnik missile complex is based at this training ground, from where Russia was able to strike the Lviv region on 8 January.

The General Staff emphasised that the Ukrainian Defence Forces will continue to systematically implement measures aimed at reducing the offensive capabilities and combat potential of the Russian aggressor.
