On September 20, a resident of Kirovohrad region opened fire on law enforcement officers during a document check.
Law enforcement officers detained a resident of Kirovohrad region who opened fire and wounded two police officers on September 20.
"Yesterday in Kirovohrad region, a resident of Novoukrainka district opened fire on law enforcement during a document check. Two of our colleagues were injured. One of them is currently in serious condition. The other, with a gunshot wound to the arm, received medical assistance, and his condition is stable," said the head of the National Police Ivan Vyhivskyi.
"A special operation was launched in the region. The attacker, a local resident born in 1979, was detained. He has a homemade modified revolver, ammunition, gunpowder, and other evidence seized from him," noted the Head of the National Police.
