On the morning of 25 July, a road traffic accident involving an ambulance and a car took place in Kharkiv. As a result of the collision, the ambulance overturned onto its side; the driver and a paramedic were injured

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Police.

What is known about the accident

The accident occurred at around 09:00 on Heroes of Kharkiv Avenue. According to preliminary information from the police, the driver of a Mitsubishi failed to give way to a Ford Transit ambulance, which was travelling with its flashing lights and sirens activated. Following the collision, the ambulance overturned onto its side.

There are casualties

As a result of the accident, the 48-year-old ambulance driver and a 22-year-old paramedic were injured. The police are investigating and determining the legal classification of the incident.
