From 18 March, Intercity trains on the Kyiv–Kharkiv route will operate on a reduced service. Full services are scheduled to resume by the end of March.

This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

Railway officials note that over the past few weeks, due to power supply issues, trains between Kharkiv and Poltava have been running with reserve diesel locomotives. This has led to delays of up to three hours. Sometimes trains arrived after the curfew had begun.

To ensure more punctual arrivals, timetables have been adjusted by introducing connecting routes. Passengers will now travel to Poltava and change to another train there.

“It is planned that Intercity services to Kharkiv will resume by the end of March. Other Ukrzaliznytsia routes to and from Kharkiv are operating as usual,” said railway officials.
