Iran confirms death of defence minister and chief of general staff

Iran has officially confirmed the deaths of Defence Minister Aziz Naserzadeh and Chief of Staff Seyed Abdolahmou Mousavi. The strike targeted a building where a military council meeting was taking place.

Iran has confirmed the deaths of Defence Minister Aziz Naserzadeh and Chief of Staff Seyed Abdolahmadi Mousavi.

According to state television, the strike was carried out on a building where a military council was being held.

Earlier, Iran confirmed the deaths of Supreme Leader Khamenei and the head of the IRGC.

At the same time, the country's authorities continue their armed resistance and are striking American bases in the Middle East, as well as Israel. The speaker of the Iranian parliament has promised new strikes.
