The Israel Defence Forces reported that during the latest wave of air strikes in Tehran, the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' space and satellite programme was hit. Other targets included military bases and internal security facilities in Iran.

The Israel Defence Forces stated that during the latest wave of air strikes in Tehran, targets belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were attacked.

According to the Israeli military, among the targets hit was the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' space and satellite programme.

The IDF said that this facility was used as a reception, transmission and research centre for the Iranian Space Agency, which, according to them, is linked to Iran's military system.

According to the Israeli army, the complex housed scientific laboratories as well as the command and control structure for the Khayyam satellite, which Iran launched in August 2022.

The IDF stated that this satellite was used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to "advance terror activities and monitor the State of Israel and countries in the region."

In addition, the Israeli military reported strikes on 50 bunkers at one of Iran's internal security force bases, where, according to their data, ammunition was stored.

Other targets included a base of the Basij paramilitary group, the headquarters of the internal security forces, and a facility belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' ground forces.
