Joshua has named his preferred opponent for Usyk’s next fight
Anthony Joshua has said he would like to see a rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Rico Verhoeven, and believes such a bout would be particularly spectacular. The British boxer emphasised that it could be one of the most thrilling fights in the heavyweight division.
Former world champion Anthony Joshua believes that Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk should have a rematch against Rico Verhoeven.
“I think a rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Rico Verhoeven would be spectacular,” said Anthony Joshua.
Earlier, former undisputed super welterweight world champion Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez commented on the bout between Oleksandr Usyk and Rico Verhoeven, which took place in Giza (Egypt).
