Nearly 10,000 drones operated by the Defence Forces are holding back the Russian Federation’s offensive

Russian troops have stepped up their attacks along the entire front line. Ukrainian defence forces have repelled dozens of assaults and inflicted casualties on the enemy.

The Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has now entered its 1,499th day.

Over the past 24 hours, 146 combat engagements have been recorded. Defence forces are repelling the occupiers’ attempts to improve their position and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting losses on the enemy in terms of personnel and equipment.

Russian troops carried out 75 air strikes and dropped 257 guided bombs. They also deployed 9,695 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,889 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 77 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Air strikes were carried out, in particular, on the areas around the settlements of Luzhky and Esman in Sumy Oblast, as well as Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhivska, Huliaipilske, Mykilsk, and Tavriiske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In response, the Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck three areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

Two combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out six air strikes, dropped 20 guided bombs and conducted 94 shelling attacks.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of Starytsia, Vovchansk and Krasne Pervoye.

In the Kupiansk direction, 12 attacks were recorded near Kurylivka, Borivska Andriivka, Pishchane, Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka and Novoosynove.

In the Lyman direction, six attacks took place in the areas of Lyman and Stavky. In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled four attempts to advance near Rai Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka and Yampil.

In the Kramatorsk sector, one attack was recorded towards Malynivka. In the Kostyantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 17 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopil, Stepanivka, Yablunivka and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 31 assaults in the areas of Bilytske, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Hryshyne and Filiya.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, seven attacks were recorded near Oleksandrohrad, Novozaporizhzhia, Berezove and Novohryhorivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, 20 attacks took place in the areas of Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Tsvitkove, Hirke, Sviatopetrivka, Olenokostyantynivka and Myrne.

No active offensive operations were recorded in the Orikhiv sector. In the Dnipro sector, Ukrainian units repelled two attacks near Bilohrudy Island and the Antonivsky Bridge.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups have been detected.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces suffered 1,300 casualties. Two tanks, seven armoured fighting vehicles, 59 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 2,497 drones and 195 vehicles were also destroyed.
