The mayor of Lviv announced that he found a "bug" in his office
"This is my work desk here, many phones, including special ones. And very often I communicate here with various respected people. My surprise was great when one of the phones started glitching. This is a phone, a charger block for it. And it was taken for repair by our specialists. They opened it up and found a listening device installed inside, a memory card, a SIM card. And the question arises: who did this?" - said Sadovyi.
According to him, if the eavesdropping was installed by foreign special services, the Security Service and "our controlling bodies that deal with this" should react to it.
"If it was done by Ukrainians, someone from Ukrainian special services, then I have a question: why do such shady things so blatantly and openly? I would like an investigation, so that the leadership of the SBU and everyone involved give me an answer about what this is," he added.
Added 20:15: The Security Service of Ukraine has opened a criminal case after a "bug" was found in the office of the Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi. This is stated in a comment from the SBU press service, provided to RBC-Ukraine.
As noted by the SBU, a criminal case has been opened regarding the discovery of a "foreign technical device" in the office of the Mayor of Lviv.
