The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to apply sanctions against the former Minister of Internal Affairs.

This is reported by  thePublic.info citing  statement from the Ministry of Justice's press service

The statement says that "Zakharchenko V.Yu. fled to the Russian Federation, where he began to provide informational support for Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and the occupation of its territory by spreading narratives of the aggressor state. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Zakharchenko V.Yu. has been publicly justifying, recognizing the legitimacy of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, glorifying individuals carrying out the armed aggression against Ukraine, and supporting the policies of the aggressor state regarding the non-recognition of the Ukrainian people's right to self-identification and self-determination".

The Ministry of Justice requests the seizure of six real estate objects (including two apartments in Kyiv), corporate rights, and funds in bank accounts for the state treasury.
