Prosecutors conducted 27 searches as part of an investigation into the activities of illegal call centres. According to the investigation, their employees made thousands of calls to potential victims every day.

The Office of the Prosecutor General announced the continuation of systematic work to combat the network of illegal call centres. The agency emphasises that the fight against cyber fraud is an integral part of the state's digital security.

Prosecutors conducted 27 searches in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to law enforcement officials, the offices had more than 1,500 workstations. Each employee made about 100 calls a day, using psychological manipulation techniques.

The investigation established that the perpetrators acted on behalf of investment companies and brokerage platforms. They promised potential clients guaranteed and quick earnings and persuaded them to invest. In some cases, they used fake platforms to demonstrate fake investment growth and virtual profits. The money received was transferred to accounts controlled by the organisers.

The victims of the schemes were citizens of Ukraine, Europe and Asia. Their number is estimated at hundreds of victims.

During the investigation, 1,500 pieces of computer equipment, nearly 500 mobile phones, server equipment and other material evidence were seized.

The investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement agencies are establishing the full circle of organisers and participants in the scheme.

The Office of the Prosecutor General noted that since July 2025, almost 800 searches have been conducted throughout the country, 150 of which were carried out within the framework of international cooperation with foreign partners. As a result, more than 25,000 pieces of equipment were seized.
