In Sharhorod on September 10, a tragedy occurred: a 23-year-old former teacher of an educational institution attacked teenagers and inflicted fatal injuries on them.

The attacker, waiting for children walking to school, suddenly inflicted stab and slash penetrating wounds in the neck area. The children died during emergency medical assistance due to their injuries. The man fled the scene, reports Office of the Prosecutor General. The victims have been identified. They are students of 10th and 11th grade of the local lyceum.

In the Shargorod territorial community, September 11-12 has been declared Days of Mourning.

The suspected perpetrator has been detained. He is a local resident born in 2002, a former teacher of the victims.

Added 14:45:  The probable motive for the brutal double murder in Shargorod could have been a conflict and bullying by teenagers directed at the teacher's younger brother. This is reported by the Telegram channel «Real Vinnytsia», which also published a photo of the detainee.

According to the channel's report, the suspect in the children's murder is an English teacher, who previously had conflicts with the boys.

Preliminary data indicate that the attacker inflicted at least five stab wounds to the torso and neck of one of the teenagers, and at least twelve wounds to the torso, right upper limb, and neck of the other.
