The story of Vinnytsia teacher Oleksiy Ponomaryov, who is suspected of the brutal murder of two students, has been continued

Police: "If signs of a criminal offense are observed, the information will be entered into the unified register of pre-trial investigations after the verification is conducted".

To the village of Kopystyrin, where now deceased students Vladislav Bevz and Mykola Bilyk lived, volunteer Halyna Vereshchaha arrived and conducted a live broadcast with the students' mothers. During this stream, it was announced that some time ago, supposedly Oleksii Ponomariov was writing unmistakable intimate messages to one of the students, who had never had any subject taught by him.

TSN.ua tracked down the mother of the teenage girl, who in turn received unmistakable messages, and spoke with her.

She clarified that her child indeed communicated with the police to provide an explanation.

«I was with the child at the police station, but I was just an observer, since the child is 14 years old. The child was questioned. He (the teacher) was writing to my daughter on the phone in July of this year. When I found out about all this, I forbade her to communicate with him. She just closes her account, and he creates new ones. And he starts writing again. We kept silent because he was free. Now we can say, and we have confirmation. He demanded intimacy from my daughter. Such messages could be written either by a man with a mental disorder or a pervert,» — told us Tetiana Khalupyak, mother of the teenage girl.

In response to a clarifying question about whether she is sure that it was specifically teacher Oleksii Ponomariov who wrote the intimate messages to her daughter, Tetiana Khalupyak answered yes: «His page was signed differently. 100% it was him. No doubt.»

Another mother of a teenage girl, Alona Dokurzanova, told TSN.ua in a comment: «When my daughter was in 9th grade, he didn’t leave her alone. Then he, the teacher, passed two of his phone numbers through a fifth-grader, asking her to call him. He paid the boy 100 hryvnias for this service. Later, my daughter wrote to that number and asked: “Who are you?”. The response came: “I am your English teacher. Let’s communicate.” My daughter replied that she didn’t want to, and blocked him on Telegram. Then he wrote in Viber: “Without your love, the world is unlovable, I will wait for you. When you turn 16, you will still be mine.” My daughter told me about this, she was very upset.»

Furthermore, according to Alona Dokurzanova, the events unfolded as follows: «I went to clarify the situation with this teacher, told him to look for a peer, not to bother my child, after which he told me that it would not happen again, and apologized. After that, he did not bother my daughter, he was silent. All this happened in winter.»

Alona Dokurzanova added that these days, the police provided explanations regarding all this.

The court sent Oleksii Ponomariov, suspected of killing two teenagers in Sharhorod, into custody without bail.

Officially, the Vinnytsia region police confirmed these reports of the appeal.

«Statements are registered in the statement and notification register, a check is currently underway, possible witnesses and participants will be identified, after which appropriate procedural decisions will be made. If signs of a criminal offense are found, the information will be entered into the unified register of pre-trial investigations after the check,» — said the spokeswoman of the Vinnytsia police, Zarina Maievska.
